Tyler send Trump a cease and desist letter asking the presidential candidate to stop playing the band’s signature tune over the weekend for a second time. And Trump ceded. Kind of. Trump announced the news on Twitter and said he found a “better [song] to take its place!” This isn’t the first Trump has been called out for using music without permission. Neil Young disapproved of Trump’s usage of “Rockin’ in the Free World” in June, and R.E.M slammed him when Trump used “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” at an anti-Iran rally last month.
