Actors on Facebook aren’t always the most reliable sources for casting announcements. (Even Robery Downey Jr. isn’t infallible in this respect). But one of the stars from Guardians of the Galaxy may have let slip the name of a returning face for their next adventure.

In a Facebook video on her husband’s page, Zoe Saldana, who played Gamora in the first film, praises Benicio del Toro’s performance in Sicario, ending the Spanish-language video with an English phrase: “I’ll see you on Guardians.”

The Sicario actor appeared as The Collector in the first film, including (spoilers for those who have not been hooked on a feeling and seen the Marvel film) an appearance in the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits sequence featuring Howard the Duck. So The Collector is alive and well, and his clearly important role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the ongoing plot of the Infinity Stones would make another appearance unsurprising.

However, this is by no means an official announcement, so whether The Collector may be back in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, another Phase 3 film, or not at all remains a question. But it would be a shame if such a snazzy dresser did not pop up somewhere in the MCU once again.

Director James Gunn did address the upcoming sequel in a recent Facebook Q&A, explaining that Nebula will have an important role, a new major character will be introduced, and he’s figured out the songs that will appear on the Vol. 2 soundtrack.
