Sam Smith dropped the music video for “Writing’s On The Wall,” the Spectre theme song, early Monday morning, which has been designated Global James Bond Day (a.k.a. the anniversary of the day Dr. No hit theaters).

Directed by Luke Monaghan, the video was shot in Rome and features Smith standing in front of a row of caskets draped in Union Jack flags and features footage of Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci from Spectre.

Smith teased the video last week and shared a 15-second clip of the opening sequence. He announced that he would sing the Bond theme last month after denying the rumors. But in a statement he said, “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.”

Spectre is due out Nov. 6.
