EW has learned that Nathan Fielder, host of Comedy Central’s Nathan For You, will guest-star on the new Fox comedy that features Rob Lowe and Fred Savage as brothers who are lawyers. (Well, Lowe plays an actor who has played one on TV, but that doesn’t stop him from joining the family law firm.) In an episode slated to air in November, Fielder pops up as a cop who pulls over Dean (Lowe) for blowing off a stop sign. Officer Collins wants to let Dean off because he’s his favorite actor, but Dean isn’t interested in preferential treatment. Fielder — whose Nathan for You returns for season 3 on Oct. 15 — joins a Grinder guest roster that includes Christina Applegate, Jason Alexander, Timothy Olyphant, Nat Faxon, and Emmanuel Chriqui.
