Back in Time, the story of how Back to the Future came to be and how it’s remained a fan-favorite in the decades since, is set for release on a day fans of the series will approve.

Gravitas Ventures announced that Back in Time will arrive on VOD, Blu-ray, DVD, and in select theaters on Oct. 21, better known to fans as the day Marty McFly traveled to in Back to the Future II. The documentary features brand new interviews with the stars and creators of the franchise, including Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Bob Gale, and more. The documentary looks beyond the original film’s release and into its lasting influence on fans and other professionals in the industry like Dan Harmon. And, as the title would indicate, Huey Lewis does also appear in the documentary.
