Once again, the big moment in this teaser is star Tom Cruise hanging off an airplane. (“They brought me this plane, and I was looking at the model,” director Christopher McQuarrie told EW. “And I said to Tom, ‘What if you were on the outside of this plane?’ I was kinda half joking when I said it, and he just looked at me and said, ‘Yeah, I could do that.'”) But don’t sleep on that car chase, or that motorcycle chase, or that part where Alec Baldwin, as a bureaucrat looking to shut down IMF, says, “You and your team will answer for every wanton act of mayhem you are responsible for.” (Pause here to imagine the shared universe that could exist between Mission: Impossible and Fast & Furious.)
