They come with the territory. But it’s not every day that you see a star take the stage next to his doppelganger—which Bono did at a Los Angeles U2 show Tuesday night. The singer invited a fan, decked out in full Vertigo-era, “Apple just made a U2 iPod” Bono regalia, on stage at the Forum to join the band for a rendition of their classic single “The Sweetest Thing.” “You’re looking really good,” Bono told Joe Hier, who sings in the cover band Hollywood U2, before launching into the song.
