Don’t Look Now is coming back to life through a newly announced remake at StudioCanal.

The original 1973 horror classic starred Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie as a couple who are grieving the death of their daughter. While visiting Venice the couple meets two nuns, one of which claims she can contact their daughter “on the other side.” But the nun gives them a foreboding message from the beyond: their lives are in danger.

Directed by Nicolas Roeg, the thriller became best known for its editing style and graphic sex scene between Sutherland and Christie.

Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman of The Picture Company are on board to produce the remake. No writer is attached to the project yet.
