But based on the trailer for the seven-part series, Mr. Norrell (Eddie Marsan) and Jonathan Strange (Bertie Carvel) are about to change all that. When the two team up it doesn’t look like it will take long before horses made of sand are galloping down beaches, dozens of squawking crows are shattering through mirrors, and people are claiming that a door to hell has been opened and the devil has been invited into England. Oh dear. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell will premiere on BBC America this summer. Check out the trailer below.
