Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts publicly acknowledged her girlfriend in an emotional Facebook post today in which she reflected on her health struggles over the past year. “I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together,” wrote Roberts, 53, who has battled cancer in recent years. People magazine reports that the two have been together for 10 years.

Roberts revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2007. After also receiving a diagnosis for a rare blood disorder, myelodysplastic syndrome, Roberts took a hiatus from Good Morning America in 2012 to undergo a bone marrow transplant. She returned to the show on Feb. 20, 2013.

UPDATE: An ABC spokesperson confirmed that Roberts’ girlfriend’s name is Amber Laign, a massage therapist who’s originally from the San Francisco Bay Area.
