TV Article Beatles concert musical 'Let It Be' coming to Broadway this summer By Jason Clark Published on May 8, 2013 06:58PM EDT Photo: Dominic Lipinski/AP If Rain didn’t completely fulfill your need to experience all things Beatles on the Great White Way (or on its lengthy road tour), you have another shot to twist and shout: the already-recouped, hit U.K. production of Let It Be — still running strong in London — will have a five-month run on Broadway at the St. James Theatre this summer, beginning July 16 and continuing to the end of 2013. Let It Be takes the audience on a trip through the Fab Four’s catalog (including “Hey Jude”, “Revolution”, “She Loves You” and, of course, the title track). Look for screaming fans, 3-D effects and the newest in projection technology. Will a flying Yellow Submarine be hurled at us? We certainly hope so. The creative team and casting are to be announced at a later date and tickets will be available on the show’s official website.
