Lonely Island announce 'Wack Album,' first-ever live show

Lonely Island

The Lonely Island is about to get a lot less lonely.

The humor-rap trio Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer announced that in the run up to releasing their upcoming third effort The Wack Album (due out this summer), they’ll be playing their first-ever live show in July. The boys will be hitting the stage at Chicago’s Aragon Balloom on July 15.

“We’re decidedly pumped to share another collection of our fake raps with the world,” the group collectively said in a press release. “We’ve heard the whole thing and there’s no denying, it exists.”

No denying indeed: the three-piece has already released the album’s lead single “YOLO,” which first premiered on SNL and features Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar. Give it a spin below:

Tickets to the live show go on sale this Saturday and be picked up at etix.com.
