Season 1 of the raucous reality series — which trails nine twenty-somethings in the small town of Sissonville as they party, fight, and pull off don’t-try-this-at-home stunts — has been averaging 3 million viewers in Jersey Shore‘s old Thursdays-at-10 p.m. slot. (Season 1 of Jersey Shore drew the same number of viewers.) In MTV’s target demo of 12- to 34-year-olds, Buckwild is currently the No. 1-rated original cable series on Thursday nights. The redneck-and-proud-of-it Buckwild attracted controversy before it premiered last month, earning the outrage of a West Virginia senator who claimed that the show “plays to ugly, inaccurate stereotypes.” The final two episodes of season 1 will air tomorrow night starting at 10 p.m., followed by the bonus-footage special “Bucking Unseen Moments” at 11 p.m. For a preview of tomorrow night’s action, click on the video to see the romantic pickle that Tyler has gotten himself into with Katie and Ashley.
