Friday night at KROQ's 23rd Annual Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Universal City, Ca., Bush singer Gavin Rossdale surprised the audience by bringing out his wife, Gwen Stefani, for a duet on Bush's 1996 hit "Glycerine."

The two '90s icons have been married since 2002, but they first met in 1995 — at the very same KROQ Christmas show. Bush and Stefani's band, No Doubt, went on tour together after the event, and the rest is…oh, you get it.

Listen closely — as the pair share a kiss at the end of the song, you can almost hear the collective "aw" of an entire generation.
