TV Article Watch the new Wilco/Radiohead/Johnny Marr/Neil Finn doc for free By Clark Collis Clark Collis Senior Writer EW's editorial guidelines Published on June 9, 2009 09:09PM EDT Last December Crowded House singer Neil Finn convinced Jeff Tweedy, Johnny Marr, Ed O’Brien and Phil Selway from Radiohead, and KT Tunstall, amongst others, to join him in New Zealand. Why? So they could perform a handful of shows and record an Oxfam-benefiting CD under the banner of 7 Worlds Collide (the whole shebang was basically a sequel to some shows Finn had overseen in 2001 with many of the same suspects that produced the 7 Worlds Collide live album.) You can now see a documentary that tracks their creative efforts on youtube. There are many rocking highlights though I particularly enjoyed the non-musical contribution of actor Rhys Darby who in the guise of his Flight of the Conchords character Murray explains his role thus: “Neil doesn’t know anything about, agendas, items, what sort of folder to have. Do you use a pencil of a pen? Do you have a rubber on the end of it? That’s where I would come in.” So Music Mixers what do you think of the efforts of Finn, Tweedy, Marr, and company? And would you like to see “Murray” get his own show? Adam Lambert is gay!: Surprised?: Adam Lambert is gay!: Surprised?
