Jim Carrey's teeth -- The ''Grinch'' actor's choppers required a ''key teeth technician'' for the film

Jim Carrey’s teeth

How crucial were Jim Carrey’s choppers to Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Enough to employ Art Sakamoto as — chew on this — key teeth technician. Sakamoto (who also did dental duty for Life and The Klumps) designed and molded the character’s pearly yellows. Working under makeup guru Rick Baker, the ex-dental technician also created the Whos’ buckteeth — two for men, four for women. “When we were testing, we also made two big front teeth for the women, but they looked too big,” says Sakamoto. Next, he’ll sink his teeth into crafting monkey molars for Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes remake. So take your stinking floss off ’em, you damned dirty apes!
