Blue Angels wrap up Boeing Seafair Air Show in Seattle on Sunday. What to know

The Blue Angels are returning Sunday for the last day of the Boeing Seafair Air Show in Seattle, Washington, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this weekend.

Seafair is a nonprofit organization that began in 1950 and has since grown into a multi-week festival with events across the Puget Sound. More than two million people will come and celebrate before the event’s conclusion.

This year, the Boeing Seafair Air Show will be held on Aug. 2-4, with the show starting at 9 a.m. each day and ending at 6 p.m. at Genesee Park.

Fans will get the chance to see heart-stopping, gravity-defying aerial performances from the likes of the Blue Angels, the U.S. Army Golden Knights and more.

Here is the schedule for the Boeing Seafair Air Show for Sunday.

  • 11:10 a.m. — U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue
  • 12 p.m. — U.S. Army Golden Knights
  • 1 p.m. — U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler
  • 1:30 p.m. — U.S. Air Force C17
  • 1:45 p.m. — U.S. Air Force F35A
  • 2:10 p.m. — PBY-5A Catalina
  • 3:05 p.m. — Boeing Flyover

When do the Blue Angels fly at the Boeing Seafair Air Show 2024?

The Blue Angels will fly at 3:35 p.m. on all three days.

Where do I park at Boeing Seafair Air Show 2024

You can park at 4316 S. Genesee St., Seattle, and you’ll need to purchase a parking pass, which will run you $50.

There is an ADA parking lot located on 43rd and Genesee. Parking here is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Save money on parking with public transportation

Fans can get to the park using public transportation, including Metro and Link Light Rail, as well as ride-share and bicycle options. Anyone arriving via Link Light Rail can get off at the Columbia City station and take advantage of the show’s free, round-trip shuttle service from the station to the park Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The free, round-trip shuttle stops at the ADA parking lot on 43rd and Genesee, the main gate, 43rd Street and the Captain’s Club.

Can I still get Boeing Seafair Air Show tickets?

General admission is free on Friday and tickets are still available for the Saturday and Sunday shows. Tickets for $45 for adults and $15 for kids ages 6-12 and adults ages 62 and older. Kids 5 years old and under get in for free.

What can I bring to the Boeing Seafair Air Show?

  • Strollers and small wagons
  • Bicycles, skateboards, and other personal transportation items (must be stored at the event’s bike compound)
  • Personal umbrellas (cannot be inserted into the ground)
  • Lawn chairs
  • Sunscreens and canopies (must be removed by 6 p.m.)
  • Blankets
  • Coolers
  • Non-alcoholic beverages (must have the original seal, no glass bottles)
  • Cameras
  • Tablets and laptops

What can’t I bring to the Boeing Seafair Air Show?

  • All weapons (including guns, knives, brass knuckles, loose batteries, wires, box cutters)
  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia, or any other illegal substances
  • Drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
  • Sparklers, fireworks or incendiary materials of any kind
  • All noisemakers (including megaphones, air horns, sirens, whistles)
  • Laser lights and pointers
  • Mace/pepper spray
  • Animals and pets (excluding service animals)
  • Footballs, frisbees, baseballs and other projectiles
  • Helium balloons
  • Enclosed or walled tents
