New, recently opened health care options to be available in northeastern Wisconsin in 2025

GREEN BAY - There will be more pediatric care options and expanded health campuses in Green Bay and the Fox Valley as construction on clinics inches closer to completion.

Here are the timelines for four clinic openings in the region that just opened or will open to patients later this year.

Bellin Health Children & Adolescent Center

Bellin Health's new Children and Adolescent Center is slated to open in the middle of August. The new youth clinic, at 2550 S. Ashland Ave., Ashwaubenon, comes from a partnership with Bellin, Children's Wisconsin, and ThedaCare called Connected for Kids.

It will be able to serve up to 10,000 patients a year who are 21 and younger. Construction began in February 2024. The new space will house Bellin's Adolescent Team and Children's Wisconsin's Ashwaubenon clinic.

Specialty care that will be available at the clinic will include pediatric primary care, psychiatry, cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, endocrinology, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, and imaging services.

Children’s Wisconsin to add pediatric urgent care in Appleton

Pediatric urgent care will be available at Children's Wisconsin's clinic in Appleton. Urgent care will be open all week, and will be available through Connected for Kids.

The Appleton clinic, at 2575 E. Evergreen Drive, has pediatric providers in at least 20 specialties, imaging, lab and child life specialists. Children's Wisconsin and ThedaCare pediatricians will provide urgent care at the clinic beginning in fall.

Prevea Appleton Health Center

Prevea Health continues to expand to the Fox Valley. It opened the Prevea Appleton Health Center in December. The new Appleton center inside the Fox Commons, at 10 E. College Ave. is now Prevea's second clinic in the Fox Valley. The first one opened in Grand Chute.

The Appleton clinic will provide more behavioral care and physical therapy. Appointments at the clinic can be made by calling Prevea Behavioral Care at 920-272-1200 or Prevea Physical Therapy at 920-272-3380.

Emergency area rendering for the new $84 million hospital that will be built in Oshkosh at 250 W. Sixth Ave.

Froedtert ThedaCare hospitals in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac

Froedtert ThedaCare Health's hospitals in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh are slated to open this year. The hospital in Fond du Lac will open on the city's west side at 755 W. Johnson St. It will have emergency, inpatient and outpatient services and is expected to open in early 2025.

A similar hospital will open in Oshkosh. Both hospitals will be smaller in scale but provide 24/7 care. The downtown Oshkosh hospital, at 250 W. Sixth Ave., will also have a retail pharmacy, ambulatory surgery center, and medical office building. It is slated to open at the end of 2025.
