Coachella Valley Brewing Company opens new location in downtown Palm Springs
Coachella Valley Brewing Company, specializing in locally crafted beers, has opened a new taproom in downtown Palm Springs.
Serving lunch, dinner and 20 taps of its award-winning beer, the bar-restaurant is located on the second floor of 155 S. Palm Canyon Drive, next to Broken Yolk Cafe and above Happy Sushi and Maracas Mexican Cantina & Grill.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
The establishment marks Coachella Valley Brewing Company's second location in the desert, after its original location in Thousand Palms opened its doors in 2013. The company states it utilizes local citrus, herbs, honey and spices to craft up its ever-changing tap lineup, according to its website.
The new Palm Springs location serves a number of different libations, including all the traditional favorites made at the Thousand Palms location in addition to specialty light beers, darker beers, seltzers, and a series of soon-to-be released items including sours, slushes and an imperial stout.
What really makes this location stand out, however, is its full kitchen, marking CV Brewing's first restaurant. Menu items include smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, salads, loaded fries and vegetarian options.
The downtown space aims to be a go-to spot for gatherings as it includes five big-screen televisions and more than 20 classic arcade games. Patrons looking to unwind after the workday can also enjoy a 16-foot firepit overlooking downtown Palm Springs.
