MATERIAL NECESARIO:
PROCEDIMIENTO.
MATERIAL:
Salt Ethanol
Propipette watch glass.
Balance 250 ml beaker.
Washing bottle Glass rod.
Pipette 10 ml. Funnel.
100 ml graduated flask
PROCEDURE.
FIRST SOLUTION: PREPARE 100 ML OF A SOLUTION OF NaCl OF CONCENTRATION 20
g/l.
a) Weigh the empty flask where you are going to prepare the solution and write down it´s
mass.
b) Calculate the amount of NaCl needed to prepare the solution.
c) Weigh the amount of NaCl you have calculated, for this help yourself with a watch glass.
d) Pour NaCl you have weighted into a beaker.
e) Add about 50 ml of water and stir until solved.
f) Using a funnel, pour the solution you have in the beaker into the graduated flask.
g) Add a little more water in the beaker to drag what may have remained in it and add it to the
flask using the funnel.
h) Add water to the flask until it is flush to 100 ml.
i) Close the flask and shake it gently to homogenize the solution. Hold the cap with your hand.
j) Weight the flask again again. If you have initially weighed it without a cap, you have to weigh
it now also without a cap.
QUESTIONS
FIRST SOLUTION: PREPARE 100 ML OF A SOLUTION OF NaCl OF CONCENTRATION 20
g/l.
1. Is the mixture homogeneous or heterogeneous.
2. How much NaCl has been needed? Do the right calculations.
3. What is the solute? And the solvent?
4. What is the mass of the solution? And its density?
5. Calculate the concentration of the solution you have prepared in mass%.
6. What is the mass of solvent in the solution?
