Self-esteem
Low self-esteem is a negative perception that a person
holds about themselves, affecting their emotional well-being
and daily life. Those who experience it often feel insecure,
incapable, or unworthy of love and success. This lack of
confidence can manifest in constant doubts about their
abilities and achievements, as well as unfavorable
comparisons with others. Low self-esteem can lead to avoiding
social situations, fearing failure, or even developing anxiety
and depression. It is often fueled by past experiences,
criticism, or unrealistic expectations. Recognizing this
condition is the first step towards overcoming it. With proper
support and personal effort, it is possible to rebuild a more
positive and healthy self-image. Fostering self-acceptance and
self-awareness are key to improving self-esteem.
