BANDWIDTH EFFICIENCY SOLUTIONS STANDARD INTERFACES

The DCX525e fully supports the growing consumer demand for high-definition FRONT PANEL
programming and high-bandwidth advanced applications. It provides new
Power LED
methods to efficiently and cost-effectively utilize limited bandwidth to deliver
these services through support of MPEG-4 decode technologies. For example, the IR remote control sensor (ARRIS)
DCX525e is capable of decoding MPEG-4 video streams, requiring significantly less REAR PANEL
bandwidth than MPEG-2 to deliver comparable quality video services. It also F -connector for cable input/output
supports Switched Digital Video (SDV) solutions, allowing service providers to
HDMI output
maximize the use of their available bandwidth by delivering programming only to
nodes where and when subscribers actively request that particular program. 10/100 Ethernet interface
3.5 mm serial port/external IR input
