HEATER LOCATION:
For optimal performance, place the heater as close as possible to the points of use (we
recommend not more than a 5 meter distance). This will minimize the loss of heat and
provide hot water quickly at the point of use.
• This heater must be installed horizontally, with the connections facing downward
for it to operate properly. When the installation is finished and before filling it with
water and switching on the power supply, make sure it is effectively horizontally
mounted, using a testing instrument (such as a bubble level). (See Figure 2)
• Install your heater so that the control panel is not obstructed, to facilitate operation
and maintenance. Leave a free space of at least 50 cm for access to the electrical
parts.
• The water heater’s location should be as practical as possible, near the areas
where hot water is used in order to avoid heat loss or freezing in areas of extreme
cold.
24 / EN
• If it is installed outside, the heater requires protection against the rain, preferably a
roof at a minimum of 80 cm from the heater cover. If the heater is not protected
from the rain, this could damage the equipment and the electrical installation,
rendering the warranty void.
• The heater must be perfectly fixed to avoid movement during earthquakes and/
or tremors, in order to prevent it falling from its position. It must also be protected
by a roof or niche to avoid direct contact with the rain.
• Remove the two (2) screws that fasten the front cover on the water heater (See
Figure.3) and remove the front cover.
• The surface where the heater will be installed must be solid and secure. DO NOT
install the unit over connections or electrical boxes.
• Place the heater on the surface where it will be installed. Check that it is leveled.
• Install the heater on the wall with 4 screws at least 1” (inch) / 25.4 mm long on the
marked points (See Figure 4).
IMPORTANT
Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and the weight of the water
heater. Otherwise, this could damage the heater and the installation, and rendering
the warranty void.
• Generally, for different wall types, especially walls with bricks, perforated blocks,
or blocks with limited firmness, this mounting must be checked for safety. The wall
mounting screws must be able to support three times the weight of the heater
full of water.
• Do not place objects under the water heater, to avoid damages.
• Check that the product characteristics comply with the requirements for its correct
operation. See the Electrical Specifications Table.

This heater must be installed according to the following indications regarding the
presence of:
• Humidity: do not install the appliance in humid environments.
• Sun rays: do not expose the appliance directly to solar rays, not even through
glass.
• Electric shock: do not install the appliance directly on electrical lines that are not
protected from voltage fluctuations.
26 / EN
To achieve a good heater installation, verify the type of water feed system you have
at your home or the location where the water heater will be installed, as there are two
different types.
Open system (with a cistern): To supply water to the heater, an air tube must be in-
stalled at the cold-water inlet.
• The air tube installation must not be omitted for the cold-water inlet, and we rec-
ommend installing one for the hot water outlet also.
• The air tube discharge must be slightly higher than the upper level of the cistern,
by at least 20 cm (See Figure 5).
• Long segments of piping and/or accessories, such as: elbows, T connections, dis-
tributing valves, etc., should be avoided. (The recommended distance between
the heater and the point of use should not exceed 5 m).
This water heater is equipped with an electronic temperature control and automatic
re-start switches to protect it from excessively high temperatures.
Closed or Pressurized System (direct from the water system): Regarding the heater’s
water supply, we recommend installing a relief valve (NOT INCLUDED) at the hot water
outlet, calibrated at (0.68 MPa) (7 kgf/cm2) (100 psi). We recommend checking it at
least once a year, to make sure it is in good working condition. (See Figure 6)
IMPORTANT
When there is excessive pressure, water exits through the relief valve. This is a normal
mechanism and does not mean the heater has malfunctioned. Avoid undue water
spills by installing a drain tube at the relief valve exit towards the drainage.
NOT installing the relief valve in a closed system will void the warranty.
Do not skip this step.
We recommend checking the relief valve (not included) at least once a year, to make
sure it is in good working condition.

IMPORTANT
It’s recommended to use certified materials, designed and endorsed for this type of
installation according to the characteristics and required temperatures.
• Not using a well calibrated relief valve or an air tube could result in excess water
pressure in the system, which could damage the installation and the heater.
• The cold-water inlet connection is indicated with a blue plug, and the hot water
outlet connection has a red plug.
• Under no circumstances must the relief valve be removed, nor its correct operation
be canceled in the closed system; and the air tube installation must not be omitted
at the hot water outlet in the open system. Otherwise, an excessive water pressure
increase could damage the installations or the heater. This damage is considered
out of warranty and invalidates it, being an outside cause.
• To fill the heater, open the supply valve on the cold-water supply pipe. Open a
hot water tap slowly (preferably the shower) to allow air to exit the heater and
the pipe. A continuous water flow at the hot water tap indicates that the heater
is full of water.

1. Connect each cable pair to a breaker (check the electrical layouts). Make sure
each breaker is connected to a black and a red cable. Make sure the heater is
connected to the specific circuit breaker on the main electrical board.
4. VERIFY that the electrical connections are correct, as well as the adjustment and
firmness of the cable connections. It is important to make sure the correct breaker
size and correct caliber are used, and to make sure the unit has been properly
grounded following the applicable regulations.
5. The front cover of the heater must be replaced and attached with two screws.
6. Make sure you have purged all the air out of the water lines before starting the
heater.
IMPORTANT
To guarantee the correct heater operation, make sure all the connections have been
made correctly. It is important that the equipment is connected as indicated in this
