CINTURA
ESCAPULAR

MUSCULO TRAPECIO
Inervación
La inervación se suministra a través del nervio
espinal.

Vascularización
Asegurada por la arteria dorsal de la escapula,
penetra en el musculo a nivel de la rama terminal
del nervio accesorio.

Acción
podemos decir que el trapecio interviene en la
rotación, aducción y elevación del hombro, latero
flexión y rectificación. Del cuello y rectificación
dorsal.
MUSCULO ROMBOIDES
Inserciones
Inserciones escapulares o laterales: se sitúan
en el borde medial de la escapula, desde la
espina hasta el ángulo inferior del hueso.

Inervación
Está asegurada por el nervio dorsal de la escapula

Vascularización
El musculo recibe numerosos ramos de la
arteria dorsal de la escapula, rama de la
arteria subclavia.

Acción
Su contracción bilateral acerca las escapulas
hacia la línea mediana.
MUSCULO ANGULAR DEL
Inserciones OMOPLATO
Inserciones superiores: están constituidas por
cuatro o cinco lengüetas que se insertan en las
apófisis transversas del
Inserciones inferiores: el músculo se fija en el
ángulo superomedial de la escapula.

Inervación
La inervación para elevador de la escapula
proviene del nervio dorsal de la escapula..
Vascularización
Procede de la arteria dorsal de la escapula.
Acción
Cuando toma su punto fijo en la columna cervical,
el musculo atrae hacia arriba y medialmente el
ángulo superior de la escapula
MUSCULO SUBCLAVIO
Inserciones
Se origina medialmente y abajo sobre la cara superior
del primer cartílago costal y sobre la parte adyacente
de la primera costilla.

Inervación
El musculo recibe al nervio subclavio, un ramo
originado del tronco superior del plexo braquial.

Vascularización
La proporciona por una pequeña rama clavicular de la
toracoacromial, originada de la arteria axilar.

Acción
La función principal del músculo subclavio es la
estabilización activa de la clavícula a nivel de la
articulación esternoclavicular.
MUSCULO PECTORAL MAYOR
Inserciones
~Una porción clavicular
~Una porción esternocostal:
~Una porción abdominal
Inervación
El nervio pectoral lateral se origina del fascículo lateral
del plexo braquial.
Vascularización
Recibe a la rama pectoral de la arteria toracoacromial,
a su vez rama de la arteria axilar.

Acción
Es aductor del brazo y lleva al mismo tiempo hacia
adelante al hombro.
MUSCULO SUBESCAPULAR

Inserción
Se efectúan en el labio anterior del borde medial de la
escapula por delante del serrato anterior.

Inervación
Recibe por su cara anterior dos nervios distintos
provenientes del fascículo posterior del plexo braquial.

Acción
Aductor del humero y rotador medial del hueso.
MUSCULO SUPRAESPINOSO
Inserción
Las fibras musculares se unen, formando un tendón
que pasa inferior al acromion de la escápula.
Inervación
El músculo supraespinoso está inervado por el nervio
supraescapular.

Vascularización
Está asegurada por ramas de la arteria supraescapular.

Acción
Considerada por mucho tiempo escasa, en la
actualidad la contribución del supraespinoso en la
abducción del humero se jerarquiza como esencial.
MUSCULO INFRAESPINOSO

Inserción
El tendón terminal pasa por detrás de la capsula
articular.

Inervación
El infraespinoso recibe las ramas terminales del nervio
supraescaprular.

Vascularización
Procede la arteria supraescapular.

Acción
Abductor y rotador lateral del humero.
MUSCULO REDONDO MENOR
Inserción
Este músculo se inserta en el tubérculo mayor del
húmero

Inervación
El redondo menor recibe por su borde

Vascularización
Está asegurada por ramas de la arteria circunfleja
humeral posterior.

Acción
Es sobre todo rotador lateral y contribuye al
mantenimiento de la cabeza humeral en la cavidad
glenoidea en el curso de sus movimientos.
MUSCULO
CORACOBRAQUIAL
Inserción
El músculo coracobraquial se origina en el vértice del
proceso coracoides de la escápula.

Inervación
La proporciona el nervio musculocutaneo.

Vascularización
Como la cabeza corta del bíceps braquial, recibe finas
arteriolas originadas directamente de la arteria axilar o
de la humeral

Acción
Es aductor, rotador medial y anteversor del brazo.
