Phrasal verbs para hablar de los viajes

drop off = dejar a alguien en un sitio.
Can you drop me off at the airport on Friday morning?
The taxi dropped me off at the hotel.
pick up = recoger a alguien de un sitio.
I’d be happy to pick you up at the station. Just let me know when your train
arrives.
The bus picked up a few travellers in the small town.
set off = partir
We should set off at 10 AM if we want to be there before lunch.
check in = facturar en el aeropuerto, y también entrar en un hotel
We need to check in an hour before the flight.
We can check in and leave our bags until they have the room ready.
check out = salir del hotel al final de la estancia
Guests must check out of the hotel before noon.
take off = despegar
My flight takes off at 7 PM, so I should be at the airport by 5.
get in = llegar a un destino
You’re arriving on Friday? That’s great! What time do you get in?
get away = hacer una escapada
I love to get away to the mountains in summer.
Y también como sustantivo, que también significa “escapada”: a getaway.

hurry up = darse prisa
