¿Qué tipo de trabajo haces por la mañana? Seguramente tu respuesta es inmediata,
todas las personas realizamos actividades que se repiten todos los días y tal vez a la
misma hora, pues bien estas son las actividades conocidas como rutinas.

Hola soy Jhonatan durante la pandemia cambiaron muchas cosas en mi casa, por ejemplo, la
rutina que solía tener vario muchísimo porque deje de ir al colegio y el horario que solía tener
vario no solo para mi sino para mis hermanos y bueno creo que para todos ustedes por ello
comparto información con mis compañeros sobre actividades cotidianas que realizado todos los
días. En esta información haré uso de vocabulario de acciones, verbos, hora y gramática del
presente simple, así como también el uso correcto de los
adverbios de frecuencia

¿Què estuviste haciendo ayer en el parque con tus amigos, cuando te llamò tu mamà
para que regreses de inmediato a casa? De hecho, estàs recordando tal situaciòn y
talvez te molestò por la interrupciòn. Todas las personas recordamos esas actividades
que estuvimos realizando y fueron interrumpidas por otra actividad y que luego las
contamos, pues bien, estas son las actividades que recordamos y se expresan en
pasado continùo.
¿Puedes narrar lo que estabas haciendo ayer por la tarde?
A continuación, tienes muchos ejemplos del pasado continùo y pasado simple para
ayudarte.
Así que hoy vamos a ver cómo contamos las acitivades que estuvimos haciendo, Lo
haremos en pasado continuo y pasado simple.
Hay muchos ejemplos con verbos comunes en el texto.
Y, además, expresiones de tiempo, un par de negaciones y más.

1- Usamos el pasado continuo para acciones que estaban pasando en un momento
- She was walking to work when he felt. (Ella estaba caminando al trabajo cuando
se cayò)
- My father called while I was doing my homework. (Mi papà llamo, mientras yo

La acciòn que interrumpe es en pasado simple, y como se observa en los
ejemplos se usarà las expresiones,

El pasado continuo se usa para hablar de hechos que estuvieron sucediendo en un tiempo
determinado del pasado. Recuerda que en el pasado continuo debes agregar ING a la
forma infinitiva.

work = trabajar

rain= tomar un descanso
ride= tomar un café
play= terminar de trabajar

Con estos verbos y el pasado continuo, puedes hablar de actividades que estuviste
realizando en un tiempo determinado del pasado.
Pero recuerda agregar ING al verbo
Así por ejemplo en el siguiente texto se describen hechos que sucedieron en un tiempo
determinado del pasado.
Alice: This morning was awful! I asked Jenny to come with me to the bank to pay the bills. As we
were going into the bank, a man was coming out. I was sure he was going to hold the door for me,
but I was wrong. The door hit me in the face. I had a headache for hours.
Jane: I don’t understand people. This afternoon there were some workers working on the sidewalk.
While they were eating lunch, somebody wrote on the fresh cement. It was terrible for them.They
had to do it all over again!
Joe: Well.My day was bad too I was driving along Olive Street and somebody U- turning without
signaling! I wasn’t driving so fast but I was about to crash.I was already nervous When I saw a girl
jaywalking in front of me! Fortunately, nothing happened.Thank God!

Past simple
El pasado simple se utiliza para hablar de una acciòn que se concretò, se iniciò y
terminò en el pasado.
En este tiempo se usan los verbos regulares e irregulares.
¿Y cuàles son?
Regular verbs: Son los verbos que forman el pasado y participio agregàndoles
“ed” al infinitivo.
Ejemplo: Work worked
Study studied
Play played
Irregular verbs: Los verbos irregulares son aquellos que tienen terminaciones
diferentes en el pasado y pasado participio.
Ejemplo: Write wrote
