I. INTRODUCCIÓN

en vías pavimentadas se aplican para mitigar los problemas producto del
deterioro que incluye agrietamiento por fatiga y formación de surcos (Imjai et
al., 2019), así también reduce el espesor de la capa base de la infraestructura
vial (Byun et al., 2019). Además, brinda beneficios como en el incremento del
CBR y la reducción del asentamiento de la subrasante (Zhang et al., 2022).

analizó su variabilidad, confiabilidad y validez. La información recopilada se
categoriza en una matriz analítica de contenido en la que se extraen objetivos
generales, métodos y resultados de cada texto. Finalmente, se estructura la
información, combinando resultados de diferentes artículos y argumentos
críticos, sugiriendo el desarrollo y discusión de temas de interés. Más
detalladamente, la Tabla 1 muestra la distribución de los artículos citados
según base de datos y año de publicación.

En esta fase del estudio presentamos los aportes positivos de utilizar los
geosintéticos en el mejoramiento de las propiedades mecánicas.

respectivamente ( Afaj et al., 2021). Asimismo, en un suelo de tipo arenoso, el
cual se reforzó con un geotextil, se evidencio que, al incrementarse la longitud
de anclaje de 375 mm a 1500 mm, el asentamiento se redujo en un 33.13%,
contrario ocurriría si es que no presentara ningún tipo de reforzamiento,
resaltando que la profundidad de entierro es determinante para reducir el
asentamiento pues a 6 m de enterramiento ese parámetro disminuyo del
29.14% al 65,91%, a diferencia de los resultados obtenidos a una profundidad
de 2 m (Li et al., 2021).
Por otra parte, se observó que la interacción del suelo solo con la geomalla, se
determinó que la longitud de anclaje es muy importante para reducir la fuerza
de tracción de la geomalla, pues lo reduce de un 0.63 kN/m a una tracción
mucho menor de 0.05 kN/m (Derksen et al., 2021). Asimismo, el refuerzo de
geomallas aplicadas en la capa base de una estructura de un pavimento,
disminuye considerablemente la deformación de su superficie, así también
ayuda a que el espesor de la capa base se reduzca entre un 25% y un 50%
(Chen et al., 2021). Además, la geomalla no solo se puede emplear en
carreteras, sino también en vías aéreas de asfalto flexible, donde colocarlas en

una posición optima mejoran la deformación y las tensiones, reduciendo la
propagación de la fisura descendente (Kaur & Aggarwal, 2020).

fricción de 15° la resistencia de refuerzo fue de 1.4, mientras que para un
ángulo de 40° dicha resistencia llego a 0 (Dias et al., 2020). Así también en un
suelo de arena silícea seca reforzada, se emplearon 3 muestras con
gradaciones diferentes, determinándose que a mayor ángulo de fricción mayor
es la capacidad de carga, ya que el espécimen N°3 con coeficientes de
curvatura de 1.55 y de uniformidad de 8.3 presento mayor capacidad portante
con un ángulo de fricción de 42°, mientras que con la muestra N°2 ocurrió lo
inverso con un ángulo de 35° (Liang et al., 2019). Finalmente se analizó el
ángulo de fricción interna en un suelo reforzado con geomalla, donde se
determinó que este geomaterial por tener miembros trasversales género que el
aumento del ángulo de fricción (Bavandpouri & Ghazavi, 2022).
