Learning a second language is often a difficult path to take that requires a lot of
effort and discipline, since like any sport you must exercise every day to achieve total
mastery of it. So, English is a second foreign language that we must manage as established
On the other hand, when learning a second language we go through a change in our
mental structures so that they assimilate, accommodate and adapt this new system of codes
that are all the vocabulary, grammar, verb tenses to say the least, because it is not only
learning a second language but also acquire it. Regarding this, Nolasco (2004) states that:
Language acquisition is a subconscious process. Grammatical structures are acquired naturally, while
learning is a conscious process, knowing the language through models and strategies other than its
acquisition (p. 7)
And all this causes despair and anguish because not everyone has the same rhythm
of learning (some learn faster than others) but there is nothing that with effort and
dedication cannot be achieved. However, the emotional factor plays an important role in
The emotional state of the students and their attitudes act as a filter that allows the information
necessary for understanding to be entered, or can prevent or block the information necessary for
language acquisition. Thus, the higher the affective filter reflected in a higher level of anxiety, low
self-esteem and little participation - the more chances that the student will fail in their learning
process. Conversely, a low affective filter will allow better levels of second language acquisition and
learning (p.211).
DEVELOPING
The purpose of the course is to obtain an A2 level in accordance with the standards
elementary knowledge of the language that allows the normal student to communicate
orally and in writing in familiar contexts and close to their family environment. The student
is able to exchange information in English, orally and in writing, about their occupations,
interests, activities, tastes and communicate about their personal profile, customs and daily
life. Expresses ideas related to places you visit and easily interacts with people in different
contexts.
Therefore, I consider that the learning of a new language has as its main objective to
be able to put it into practice in a real context of communication, that is, to have the ability
to interact in a series of different situations that allow you to use the language. learned.
Since English has been considered the most widely used language in the world,
many educational institutions integrate it into the curriculum. When speaking of English as
a foreign language, reference is made to learning a language different from that of the
mother tongue, and which is also not the one used in the student's daily life and the
Therefore, my experience in learning English I must say that it has been a process of

Through each of the works developed during this semester I was able to learn about
different verb tenses present tense, past simple, present continuous, present continuous as
adjectives, the use of when and While. Each one of them serves to be able to use them in
our daily life and to practice and acquire this foreign language more and more.
Likewise, the use of the learning evidence portfolio as a tool for evaluating
competencies is based on the idea of showing the evolution of student learning throughout
the program, therefore, it should have a unified interface that also storing all the evidence
and allowing it to be consulted in an agile and comprehensive way, will provide feedback
to the teacher on the progress of the group and each individual in particular, so that at any
time, its growth throughout it is evident, even allowing time to be moderated and how
The aforementioned is due to the fact that we cannot deny that in recent years ICT

of making the classroom a space for collective construction based on the philosophy of
Web 2.0, where knowledge can no longer remain individual and private, but must be
extended to the collective and public, in order to potentiate knowledge and strengthen it
from the perspective of quality know-how; remembering that the paradigm of having access
to information does not imply or mean being able to learn. For all of the above, promoting
the creation and socialization of learning objects will contribute to significantly enrich the
