    Bhopal is still grappling with the aftermath of a catastrophic disaster ⤵️ In December 1984, Bhopal faced one of the worst industrial disasters in history when a chemical leak from the Union Carbide plant resulted in over 25,000 deaths and injuries to half a million people. Four decades later, the city continues to suffer from the fallout of this tragedy. 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: Persistent health issues and environmental contamination remain severe, with toxic waste still leaching into soil and water 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: The disaster has left a legacy of respiratory illnesses, vision problems, neurological damage, and psychological trauma 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: Cleanup efforts have lagged, with much of the plant still abandoned and polluted areas degrading over time ⚠️ The Bhopal disaster underscores the urgent need for stringent industrial safety measures and environmental protections to prevent such tragedies in the future.
