18 International Companies Express Interest in Expanding Operations in the Canary Islands Following SEMICON WEST Event Proexca, under the direction of the Government of the Canary Islands, attended the prestigious SEMICON WEST international trade fair in San Francisco. The delegation comprised public institutions and private enterprises, aiming to bolster the Canary Islands’ microelectronics ecosystem and attract direct foreign investment to the region. Attracted by numerous advantages, CEOs, Managing Directors, and Founders from 18 international companies have contacted Proexca to request meetings and explore the next steps towards establishing their businesses in the Canary Islands. These interested companies hail from countries including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, and France.
