Khanapur Assembly Election 2023:
As expected, Congress has reposed its faith in the incumbent MLA Anjali Nimbalkar who had defeated BJP's Vithal Halagekar to win the seat in 2018. Meanwhile, the BJP has also repeated its candidate and fielded Vittal Halagekar again considering the low margin of difference between votes in the last Assembly elections. JD(S), which is fighting the elections alone, has fielded Naseer Bapulsab Bhagavan for the Khanapur Assembly seat.
