oystercatchers in the background, does not mean all is well.

Some waders are still on their way north and last week saw the highest counts for some areas for species such as Whimbrel and
Oystercatcher.
The species that have seen the greatest increases include goldfinch (inset), coal tit and
oystercatcher, while there have been declines in cuckoo, mistle thrush and starling.
