The name
Kimono, the same word for an ancient Japanese style of dressing, surfaced in June after Kardashian West attempted to trademark it.
She explained that she had misunderstood the cultural significance of
kimono.

kimono in Japanese culture and have no plans to design or release any garments that would in any way resemble or dishonour the traditional garment," Kardashian told The New York Times, as cited by E!

kimono is regarded around the world as a distinct part of our culture," he said.
