Location:In the central eastern part of the state, 7 miles north of Pottsville.
Facilities:282 class A campsites, showers, flush toilets, hiking trails (5 miles), bike trail, swimming beach, boat rentals, boat launch, amphitheater, camp store, playgrounds.
Activities:Camping, boating (electric motors only), fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, hunting, ice fishing, ice skating, sledding, nature programs.
Special Features:Park is adjacent to Weiser State Forest, with numerous miles of scenic state forest roads, trails, and scenic overlooks. Locust Lake sits between two campgrounds and is surrounded by forest.
