Dombai-Ul’gen

 

a mountain in the western part of the Glavnyi, or Vodorazdel’nyi, range of the Greater Caucasus (on the border of the Georgian SSR and the KarachaiCherkessk Autonomous Oblast) at the sources of the Teberda River. Altitude, 4,046 m. Made up of gneiss, crystalline schist, and granite. Covered with perpetual snow and glaciers.
