Canuleius, Gaius

 

Flourished in the fifth century B.C. Tribune in 445 B.C. in ancient Rome.

Gaius Canuleius passed a law in the Senate that abolished the ancient prohibition of marriages between patricians and plebeians. His second bill, which provided for the election of consuls from both patricians and plebeians, was not adopted.
