[edit]Alternative forms
[edit]- ἀνθέριξ (anthérix)
Etymology
[edit]Not related to Latin ador (“hulled wheat”) nor to ἄνθος (ánthos, “flower”). According to Beekes, the nasalized form ἀνθέριξ (anthérix) points to a Pre-Greek origin.
