Hvaler is a municipality in the county of Østfold, Norway. Consisting of a group of island and a population of 3,694. There are about 830 islands in total, most are uninhabited. The four main islands are Vesterøy, Spjærøy, Asmaløy and Kirkøy.

[edit]The best ways to get around is using a car or public transport like a bus. Go by boat if you want to visit the other islands. On the islands themselves, walking is nice.
