Description

Shuwaikh (Arabic: الشويخ) is a part industrial and part rural area within the Al-Asimah Governate in the country of Kuwait. The majority of Kuwait's ports and several offices reside in the area.

This area also contains the Friday market ( Souq al-Juma) at Al-Rai place (Fourth Ring Road). It starts every Thursday in the afternoon and goes until Friday evening. You can find used stuff and new stuff, clothes, designer clothes, Materials to make clothes, furniture, carpets, animals, plants, antiques and souvenirs,... You DO need to bargain or you get cheated.
