Little Rural Riding Hood

Little Rural Riding Hood is a 1949 animated cartoon short subject directed by Tex Avery, conceived as a follow-up to his 1943 cartoon Red Hot Riding Hood. In 1994, the cartoon was ranked in 23rd place of The 50 Greatest Cartoons. It is essentially a retelling of the Aesop fable, "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse".

- [He drives Country Wolf back to his home in the country]
- Country Red: Eh, howdy, boys.
- [City Wolf sees Red and goes through the same wild reactions that his country cousin went through; Country Wolf knocks him out with a mallet and puts him back in the car]
- Country Wolf: Sorry, cousin. This country life's bit too much for ya. I'll have to take ya back to the city!
