The Reichstag in Berlin is the meeting place of the German Parliament.

This is mostly a list of Non-article page requests for comment believed to be active on 5 November 2013 linked from subpages of Wikipedia:RfC, recent watchlist notices and SiteNotices. The latter two are in bold. Items that are new to this report are in italics even if they are not new discussions. If an item can be listed under more than one category it is usually listed once only in this report. Wikipedia contributor Antonio "Tony the Marine" Santiago is profiled in a Wikimedia Blog post. According to the post, "...Puerto Rican Secretary of State Kenneth D. McClintock called Santiago the Commonwealth’s foremost military historian." This year's Wiki Loves Monuments event in Syria had an unusual situation because of the potential damage to monuments during the country's civil war. According to a post in the Wikimedia Blog, "Damascus, Aleppo, and Homs are among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world... There are buildings, churches, theaters, and gates that date back to the second century." This photo shows the dome of Khan As’ad Pasha in the Old City of Damascus. Over 1,000 photos were uploaded from Syria during Wiki Loves Monuments 2013. A commentator on the blog post wrote, "These places have a soul that have been silenced by the cannons hope one day the world conscience silence the guns and those cities come back to life again".
