[edit]- Suspected sockpuppets
- Vision Thing (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- Evidence submitted by User:The Four Deuces
I believe that User:Vision Thing may be a sockpuppet of User:Alfrem because his first edits show he was an experienced editor,[1] he edits similar articles (especially Anarcho-capitalism), has a similar confrontational editing style, is clearly not a native English speaker, probably lives in Europe and edits in the same time period (0800GMT to 2000 GMT). Although Alfrem is not blocked he stopped editing following a topic ban and edited under other accounts, particularly User:Irgendwer, some of which have been blocked as sockpuppets. CheckUser has been run unsuccessfully for Vision Thing against User:RJII (twice) and User:Hogeye (I was not involved in those requests.).
Checkuser has been able to uncover several socks of Alfrem/Irgendwer.

- Checkuser request – code letter: E (Community ban/sanction evasion )

- Declined, checkuser technically impossible as master account hasn't edited since 2005. Steven Zhang The clock is ticking.... 21:02, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Clerk, patrolling admin and checkuser comments
- Not seeing any violation of the sock policy here. As the filer notes, the Alfrem account is not blocked. The topic ban expired years ago, and the Irgendwer account doesn't appear to have been definitely linked to Alfrem. Best to address the problematic behavior, if any, in a more appropriate forum.
