VSN Cafe: Vaccine Safety on Wikipedia - November 5, 2020       @WikimediaDC

WHO's hq in Geneva

To help improve the quality and quantity of vaccine safety related content on Wikipedia, Wikimedia DC and NewsQ in partnership with the VSN, organized a pilot edit-a-thon on 28 August. The 3 hour session included training on how to navigate the editing platform, tips on making your first edits and breakout sessions with experienced wiki-editors, healthcare professionals and communicators to improve vaccine safety content on Wikipedia.

In this café session we will have Ariel Cetrone from Wikimedia DC present how to navigate Wikipedia, make your first edits and we will discuss how VSN members can contribute to the Wikipedia community to ensure reliable information is being created.
