NFL Draft prospects
[edit]I've noticed you've created a lot of NFL draft prospects. It appears a lot of them are notable, however I've also noticed a lot seem to lack the sources to pass WP:GNG at this time. When creating these articles, please make sure there are enough sources. Otherwise please wait until after these players are drafted and have the sufficient amount of sourcing. Thank you.--Yankees10 17:14, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Same goes with college football players. They need multiple reliable sources to pass GNG. You are way jumping the gun with some of these articles. They are not notable yet.--Yankees10 06:36, 10 May 2018 (UTC)

The article Devin Studstill has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NGRIDIRON, WP:TOOSOON
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willsome429 (talk) 02:22, 12 May 2018 (UTC)

Wikipedia editor Barkeep49 just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Based on how AfD goes I think he'd likely survive a challenge there but will say that being a 1 year player who has set a single game record doesn't mean notability. Your claim he's been written about a bunch and thus meets GNG is a better claim. I would try to include more of those articles sooner rather than later in case others disagree with me about notability.

Ways to improve Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey statistical leaders
[edit]Hello, Kkuchnir,
Thank you for creating Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey statistical leaders.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This article is missing prose, which means it fails notability for sports teams and player perfomances. Articles such as these should consist mainly of well-sourced prose, not just statistics and lists of players. WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A STATS DIRECTORY. See WP:NSEASONS for guidance. Failing this notability guide, this article may be redirected to the main team page.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}

Ways to improve Chasen Hines
[edit]Hello, Kkuchnir,
Thank you for creating Chasen Hines.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
What is needed are references from significant coverage about this player, and not their own words; in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. Lists, Team rosters, pages listing matches and results, databases, Instagram, Facebook, none of these are reliable sources. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - see WP:NSPORT ) You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally giving more information about this player, that meet these criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that this article is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}

Speedy deletion nomination of Chasen Hines
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Chasen Hines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – DarkGlow • 09:48, 13 May 2022 (UTC)
Chasen Hines moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Chasen Hines, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – DarkGlow • 13:12, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

The article Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey statistical leaders has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
fails sports notability - issues haven't been addressed in months
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Troutfarm27 (Talk) 07:06, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

march madness 2023
[edit]UConn over Gonzaga would not be an upset as they are only one seed above Gonzaga and they would have to be at least two in order to be an upset. Lucthedog2 (talk) 21:17, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
Just a note
[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! –Skywatcher68 (talk) 14:34, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

- @Kkuchnir: I invite you to take part in this discussion, as the purpose of the many "statistical leaders" pages you have created are being reviewed. It would be helpful to hear your thoughts on this. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 05:15, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Kkuchnir: The discussion has been closed with consensus to merge. I wanted to bring up the issue of the 300 other "statistical leaders" articles that you've created, as from what I've seen, they all have the same issues that were outlined in this AfD discussion. I would like it if we could find a solution here, as I would rather not have to do something extreme like bring the issue to the administrators' noticeboard or start a 300-article multi-AfD. Additionally, it seems that you've put a lot of effort into this project of yours over the last three years, and I wouldn't want it all to be thrown away. Since other editors seem to agree that merging would be the best solution, would you be able to take on the task of moving the content from all the "statistical leaders' pages into the respective main articles? —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 17:41, 27 July 2023 (UTC)

Le Moyne statistics
[edit]Thanks for creating Le Moyne Dolphins men's basketball statistical leaders. I'm going to make some changes to it. For instance, it is fairly certain that they are complete all the way back to the 1948–49 season. Also, Le Moyne does not include assists, steals and blocked shots from any season before they became official statistics. I've been working on documenting Le Moyne men's basketball history, and many of the statistics shown were provided to the school by me. They recently (about a month ago) did a huge batch update adding many performances that had been missing from the records. Because I am only up to the 1990–91 season, and it is expected that more will be found, I had put off creating this page, since I expect it to change. Now that the page exists, I suppose it will be simple to update as new records are unearthed. I'm also going to change some of the names in conformity with WP:NCSP, since the school's database uses full, official names, and many of the players were most commonly known by other names. For instance, Don Savage was nearly always called Don, not Donald, in both commercial and school newspapers. Anyway, thanks again for all your effort. Taxman1913 (talk) 23:21, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments, I'm always excited when a school has a dedicated fanbase, especially since they just moved up to D1! I added the specific pages I used and an access date, if new records are added I would appreciate if the page is updated with appropriate citations. I try to use ESPN as an unbiased sourced for end of seasons stats, but this won't be fully possible until 2026-27, 4 years after joining D1. I always appreciate enthusiasm for these projects!
