Rafale combat radius
[edit]Why did you revert my edit requesting a citation? The data from Dassault Aviation, Superfighters, French Navy, International Directory of Military Aircraft do not provide a stat for combat radius. -Obivader
Bangladesh Military Academy de-PRODed
[edit]I agree that there are many things wrong with the article Bangladesh Military Academy. Wikipedia, however, is forever a work in progress. Articles sometimes get better and sometimes get worse. Bad articles should not be deleted simply because no one has cleaned them up lately. The article cites an independent, reliable source, Banglapedia. Additional independent reliable sources exist, so the topic is notable. The article should be improved by a judicious combination of research and attribution, expansion, tagging of specific problems, and content removal. Deletion of the entire article is not appropriate. --Worldbruce (talk) 01:36, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2008 Mumbai attacks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IED. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Indian Army personnel
[edit]Hello Spartacus. I think at the Indian Army article you are also adding Navy and Air force personnel too.
- Indian Army = Land forces only.
- Indian Armed Forces = Land forces, Navy and Air force.
Thanks. Antiochus the Great (talk) 11:22, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Please go through my reference. NCC (Reserve force) have more than 13 lac volunteers (Tri-forces) so 11 lac reserve for army isn't wrong. Thanks. Spartacus! t@lk 14:15, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

Nonsense
[edit]Hi there, i noticed you added the propaganda back on the page which i removed. your source is not reliable and utter nonsense. the references in question is simply someone's opinion. looking at your sources i can see that you are of Indian origin i think its best if you stop publishing anti Pakistani propaganda or i shall be speaking to the administration to block you from editing certain articles. i am going to undo what you did to the babur thread. oh and next time dont threaten me again regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blue fishy (talk • contribs) 09:02, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Indian Army Page
[edit]Spartacus read the Indian Government official source already present there for the size of Indian Army, It is 1159093 and not 1,252,090 you can see it under the main heading of soldiers, The army held strength is mentioned as 1159093 they also mention that they require some 1202257 soldiers but there is a shortage of 43164 hence the current strength is 1159093. I am mentioning the source here again so you can read it easily.

September 2016
[edit]Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to 2016 Uri attack: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. You need to provide a clear edit summary as well as give a user warning template when you revert newbie edits. Kautilya3 (talk) 20:28, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Gangadhar Nehru, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You've been here long enough to know not to peddle unreferenced conspiracy theories. If you do this again, you will be blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 06:32, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hlw, SpacemanSpiff, I didn't made this edit . I gave my phone to my uncle bcz he wanted to know something about Nehru. Then I went to college. I don't know what he did. After I came back from college, I took my mobile from him and when I open Wikipedia I saw your warning,(I don't log out anytime). I'm quite experienced now and I know what is wp:vandalism. Hope you will understand. Thanks. Spartacus! t@lk 09:57, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Ins Kolkata the boss.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Ins Kolkata the boss.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —SpacemanSpiff 06:56, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

Request reason:
speaking frankly, I gave my phone to my uncle because he asked me . I was supposed to go to college at that instant . He wanted to know something from google. I didn’t think to log out as I did not know he may edit Wikipedia using my account (I habitually don't log out bcz frequent login is irritating). I will be extremely careful of this in the future and request admins to please unblock me.Spartacus! t@lk 16:01, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Accept reason:
After looking at the edit history, I'm satisfied that you're in control of this account. I'll keep an eye on it anyway, though. I also think you've learned to be more careful. However, you should strongly consider using a Committed Identity as if this happens in the future, nobody is likely to unblock without absolute proof that you are yourself. Indian Army
[edit]Hello:
The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Indian Army has been completed.
A lot of updating/citation work is required before it will meet GA requirements. Here's a partial list of the main areas I see needing improvement, but there are other items needing updating indicated throughout the article.
Indian Army Updating Required:
- Lead: Number of troops and breakdown; F-INSAS has been abandoned?
- Yudh Abhyas – section has old information
- Exercise Shakti – needs updating
- Exercise Shoorveer – I fixed verbs so they are past tense but an article that describes exactly what happened – not what was planned – needs to be checked and cited.
- Exercise Rudra Akrosh – same situation as with Shoorveer
- Exercise Nomadic Elephant and Exercise Shatrujeet both need updating
- Future developments – section needs updating – some material is from 2008
Good luck with the GAN when you get to it.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:43, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
