Adam John Evans (born 24 February 2002) is an English singer and songwriter who grew up in Stradishall, Suffolk with his parents and sister. He is extremely outspoken about his issues with depression and his bisexuality, having performed at many charity events for the former.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Evans released his first single 'Wasted' in November 2018, a self-penned acoustic ballad about a breakup - followed up by 2019's 'Notice Me', his highest streamed song to date. In 2019, Adam released his album 'Talking To My Lonely' - which he has since removed from streaming services after deciding the music wasn't an accurate representation of what he 'believes he can do.'
To end the year, Adam performed at the Lowestoft light switch on [3]
Just before the Pandemic, Evans performed in the third heat of the BurySOUND 2020 competition [4]
After moving to London in 2020, Evans briefly joined boyband 'Rebel' before returning to solo projects. Evans has since collaborated with artists including his close friend Eliza, and LCKDWN.
As of December 2021, Adam's spotify has received over 23,500 streams - and in that year alone, 304.7 hours of listens [5]
Education
[edit]Evans attended Hundon Community Primary School from reception (school) to year 4. He then moved to Kedington Academy for the following two academic years.
Adam went on to attend Samuel Ward Academy in Haverhill where he stayed until the end of his GCSEs. He then moved to King Edward VI School, Bury St Edmunds where he studied Psychology, English Language and Music Technology at A Level. Evans, however, fell into the academic cohort that didn't sit their exams due to the corona virus pandemic.
In the summer of 2020, Evans moved to Fulham, London to study Popular Music Performance: Vocals at British and Irish Modern Music Institute
