Kunal Shiinde (born 23 December 1985) is an Indian film actor[1] known for his method acting skills and performances. He is a national winner awardee for the film Women of Goveli [2] by Yes Bank Foundation of India 2017. His other works include the Hindi Feature film Music Meri Jaan (2012) with Piyush Mishra [3], and the Marathi cinema Tatyavinchu Lageraho [4] (2012). He played a notable role in the movie Hichki, with Rani Mukherji. Even he also playing a lead Antagonist in the movie Hero (2017) [5] directed by Niyaz Siddiqui.

Personal Life

Kunal Shiinde born in Kalyan and brought up in Ambernath, Mumbai, India. He completed his School from Kendriya Vidyalaya ambernath (CBSE board), Later completed his Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from K J Somaiya Vidyavihar College, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from ses college, Bhivpuri, Karjat. He has 2 siblings younger sister and younger brother, his dad is an employee of Central government, mother is a house wife, sister is a lecturer of tally and income tax in p.c point, brother is a professional hip hop dancer and working in multinational company Accenture. He debuted in Hindi Feature film called Music Meri Jaan and begins his carrier as a Choreographer for the Marathi Feature film TatyaVinchu Lageraho.

Film career

His acting career began with the Bollywood Film Music Meri Jaan (2012)[6] directed by Tanuja Shankar. This film was based on Indian reality Shows with star including Sudev Nair & Piyush Mishra. The movie was praised by critics under various film festivals [7] for their acting performances. Kunal, then went on to star in Marathi Feature film Aashiyana (2014)[8] which dealt with the Bar Dancer's life. Kunal played the lead villain role in the film Hero, which will release by January 2018.

Kunal will be soon seen in his forthcoming venture Radhe Murari (2018). Which is a Marathi Feature Film Starring Gaurav Ghatgegar and Amit Riyan Patil. Besides this kunal has given his voice over for a film Angry Indian Goddesses (2015). He even acted in a web series called Not Fit (2015).

Kunal Shiinde received a National Winner Awardee trophy from Padmabhushan, Padmashri & Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner Shyam Benegal [9] for the Film Women of Goveli [10] under Yes Foundation organised by Yes Bank 2017. This Film also received an award of All India Popular Choice Award (2017) and got Best Documentary Award by Ambarnath Film Festival (2017)

Kunal received a Special mention award for a short film Whatsapp Guys [11] from Atharva Film Festival. This film has shooted from Ambernath to Sweden & Melbourne. Kunal releases all his films under his production house Kunal Shiinde Films, even his all films are made for Women empowerment which influences audience to watch it on Youtube
