Description of suggested change: I would like to update this template's module with the current revision of the sandbox (diff). I have updated the template to use the correct shade of grey when the dark mode for the Vector 2022 skin is active.
This revision passes all of the template's testcases. PitConclave (talk) 18:19, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Done Nice work. The testcases page looks great. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:48, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Jonesey95 @PitConclave This is what I see for multi-row episodes when logged out (easily viewable through incognito mode), given the latest updates. This was an issue that I fixed yesterday, which has now been reverted. Please implement supports for restore this. Thank you. -- Alex_21 TALK 21:20, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- I messed that up. I think it is fixed now. Please check for me, though. PitConclave, for future reference, whenever you make a change to a /sandbox page, make sure that you copy the live template or module to the sandbox first. That way, any changes to the sandbox will be only the changes that you want to make. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:36, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- My apologies, Jonesey95; I'm new to editing templates. Thank you for the information. PitConclave (talk) 21:37, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

How many and which air-dates
[edit]@REVUpminster: Have the intervening 8 years provided a solution or clarity on how to tackle the problem in this (How many air-dates) discussion?
I'm cleaning up episode tables and I've hit a quandary over The Mysterious Cities of Gold which has no fewer than four dates in it.
Japanese date is the first, so no problem there and the BBC date isn't a notable one when it comes to the template instructions, so that can go. Which leaves the French and US dates that both have a valid claim to AltDate
; French co-production and US is first English broadcast date. To complicate matters further, the French version is the one that was edited and changed the characterization that the English language versions used for dubbing purposes, so that's important.
The other option is that only the original air date matters and the rest should be removed, which seems a bit too brutal in this case.
All opinions on which way to tackle this gratefully received.? - X201 (talk) 08:12, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- Japan date as
|OriginalAirDate=
, and the French and first English (which you've said is the US) as|AltDate=
. Or possibly Japan and French as original and only the English as Alt. Either way, those three can stay. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:29, 4 September 2024 (UTC)- Thanks. Just wanted to run it past someone. - X201 (talk) 07:47, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
Subst trick
[edit]It would be really useful if the template could perform the Substitution trick is there any chance of getting it implemented? - X201 (talk) 09:19, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
