Disqualified from participating in ISL 2015
[edit]On 12 December 2014, Persiwa was disqualified from participating in the 2015 Indonesia Super League because it was deemed not to have met the requirements both in terms of finances and infrastructure together with Persik Kediri during the verification process in December 2014.
History
[edit]Although they became the runners-up in the 2014 Liga Indonesia Premier Division and got promoted, they were disqualified because they did not qualify during the verification process for the 2015 Indonesia Super League.[2] They then decided to accept the offer from PT Liga to play again in the Liga Indonesia Premier Division.[3]
