Lieutenant colonel Khurram Abbas TI(M) is a retired officer of the Pakistan Army, who served from 1999 to 2024. He was commisioned in Frontier Force Regiment.

Ealy Life & Education

Born in Multan, Punjab on 21st November, 1975. Khurram completed his Intermediate education from Fauji Foundation College for Boys, Rawalpindi before joining the Pakistan Military Academy in 1996. His family hails from Khanewal, Punjab. His father Maj(R) Hashmat Hussain who got commision in 39 PMA Long Course served 25 years in the Pakistan Army. He was held POW along with 90,000 Pakistani troops after the Instrument of Surrender was signed during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.He returned as a Ghazi in 1973 after the Simla Agreement was signed between India & Pakistan.

Military life

He was commissioned on 18 April 1999 in his parental unit (30 FF Regiment) after two years and six months of training (1996–1999). He had to pass out from 97 PMA Long Course but due to an internal matter he had to undergo 6 months of additional traing. Therefore, he passed out from 98 PMA Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy.
